About Goco

Hi!

My name is Shira and I'm the founder of Goco Modest Activewear.

When having my first baby during the Covid-19 Pandemic and being home for months, I realized I wanted to start a company that can change my lifestyle for the better and help others feel good about themselves. I wanted to help people feel better in their own skin and feel motivated, energized, and limitless. This is the story of Goco. I've always loved working out and especially loved working out outside and appreciating the fresh air and nature. There's nothing like waking up in the morning and going for a run and feeling like you can do anything you set your mind to. I realized actually getting up and getting dressed was not as easy. When you try to be modest it's not just leggings and a tank top. It's leggings, a skirt, a shirt, and a head-covering for some. This can make it extremely challenging to actually go for the run being that essentially you keep adding layers.

That's when Goco was born. I couldn't stand that being modest was getting in the way of my motivation. It shouldn't. It should be just as easy for us as it is for anyone. We should feel just as empowered as everyone else. Goco is a brand that's goal is to empower you to workout looking fierce and stylish as you feel comfortable and supported as well. I want you to feel your best and use your activewear for any activity you like, not just activewear. Versatility is the goal and doing anything can be easy like taking a walk, going for a run, or just going with your kid to the park. Do  it all and don't compromise on your fashion or comfort. Wearing 7 layers doesn't have to be the answer anymore. Modest should be just as easy.
